  • Classically trained vocalist actively performing an array of musical styles including opera, art song, oratorio, spirituals, and musical theatre. 

  • Collaborates with artists in theatrical productions, concerts, and creative events. 

  • Teach's voice and performance techniques to students varied in age and experience.

June 2015- Present

  • Guide singers and professional voice users with tools for musical performance and healthy voice practices

  • Researching effective voice habilitation practices and voice injury causes through certification in Vocology.

 

African American Choral Ensemble at Indiana University - Road Manager (Graduate Assistant)

August 2021 - Present

  • Manages performance engagements held both on and off-campus, in collaboration with presenters, ensemble directors, and personnel assigned to engagements.

  • Leads ensembles warm-ups, assists with repertoire selection, and rehearsal facilitation.

 

The Lewis Prize for Music,  Offsite - Knowledge and Strategy Associate

May 2019 - Present

  • Leads communication strategies alongside the Public Relations Lead to share resources including program funding, scholarships, and professional development opportunities.

  • Reports directly to the CEO in coordinating large-scale events such as national convenings, and virtual award celebrations.

  • Collects data and assesses the interests of our current partner organizations as well as prospective partners to implement successful program initiatives.

 

The Classical Musicians Network, United States - Co-founder

2021- Present

  • Hosts international gatherings with musicians, teachers, and administrators in the classical music industry to connects individuals and organizations across generations and culture.

  • Presents concerts to promote musicians and composers of various backgrounds

 

Cooking and Opera LLC, United States - Owner

2020 - Present

  • Collaborate with musicians, chefs, and content creators to promote wellness through music and food.

  • Produces multi-media content that activates classical music and its multicultural integration featured oninstagram, facebook and youtube 

 

Midori and Friends Music Foundation, New York, NY - Interim Program Coordinator

2019

  • Managed the Midori Music Program at 20 public schools in New York City.

  • Collaborated with principals, assistant principals, and appropriate staff to meet the artistic vision of each school program. 

  • Facilitated planning meetings, and worked with the Midori Executive Program Manager to evaluate activities at each running program.

Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL - Graduate Teaching Assistantship, Voice

2016-2018

• Operated a voice studio of undergraduate students to teach voice technique and

assist in career preparation.

• Worked directly with Program Director of Music Theatre to accomplish

curriculum initiatives and ensure student productivity.
 

The Sphinx Organization, Ann Arbor-Detroit, MI and New York, NY -  Liaison

2016 - 2018

  • Collaborated with the special events manager and development team to successfully execute logistics during the Sphinx Virtuosi performance and gala at Carnegie Hall.

  • Developed and implemented ideas with a cohort of liaisons dedicated to the Sphinx mission of transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts.
